In 1982, amid the ongoing Israeli assaults, Imam Musa Sadr was abducted, leading to his split from the Amal movement alongside Seyyed Abbas Mousavi. This separation soon paved the way for the formation of Hezbollah. During that time, the foundation of this group was established under Mousavi’s leadership.
