1985_2024 secretary_general of Hezbollah
The first secretary_General of Hezbollah was subhi al_Tufayli, who was succeeded by Sayyed Abbas al_Musawi in May 1991 due to disagreements and criticisms directed at him. Sayyed Abbas al_Musawi was martyred by lsrael on February 16, 1992, and the Hezbollah Council elected Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as secretary_General. Following the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on September 27, 2024, Naim Qassem succeeded him.
