Martyr Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Mohammad Beheshti (1928 – 1981)
– PhD in Philosophy from the University of Tehran.
– The second head of the Judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the head of the Supreme Court.
– Chairman of the Islamic Revolutionary Council of Iran.
– Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Constitutional Experts.
– The first secretary general of the Islamic Republic Party.
Finally, he was martyred on June 28, 1981, following an explosion in the office of the Islamic Republic Party in Tehran.
